The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Complaint Case No.547C/2006 registered for offences punishable under Sections 323 and 498(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is of torturing the informant with respect to demand of Rs.5,000/- . The petitioner happens to be husband.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he has no knowledge about this case as such he could not

Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned ACJM Vth, Biharsharif at Nalanda in connection with Complaint Case No.547C/2006 with condition that one of the bailors shall be his close relative and further condition that he will co-operate in disposal of the trial and appear as and when required by the trial court otherwise his bail bond shall be cancelled.

With the above direction, this application is allowed.
