On the last occasion, the case was taken up but, even after repeated calls, no one appeared for the petitioner to press this petition.

In this case, the petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Excise Case No. 28C3 of 2015 registered for offences under sections 47(a) of the Excise Act. From the records, it appears that the petitioner has filed the present application for anticipatory bail after huge delay of four years.

In view of the above, this Court does not find to exercise its jurisdiction in favour of the petitioner who has

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.37710 of 2019(2) dt.24-06-2019 2/2 moved this Court after much delay of about four years, which itself, shows that the petitioner has no apprehension of his arrest in the present case.

This petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
