This application for grant of anticipatory bail arises out of Rohtas (Amjhore) P.S. Case No. 153 of 2015 (G.R. No. 974 of 2015), disclosing offence under Sections 341, 323, 354B ,337, 338, 307, 379, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Considering the fact that the petitioner is an accused in other criminal cases, I am not inclined to grant him the privilege of anticipatory bail.
Accordingly, this application for anticipatory bail is, hereby, rejected.
The petitioner is directed to surrender before the court below within four weeks from today and seek regular bail, if
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5909 of 2016 (2) dt.22-02-2016 2/2 so advised. If he does so, his application for regular bail shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced by rejection of present application for grant of anticipatory bail particularly as I have not gone into the merits of accusation against the petitioner in the present case.
This application stands disposed of with the observation as aforesaid.
