2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):

"A. To issue a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to pay balance of compensation

Patna High Court CWJC No.9759 of 2026(2) dt.13-07-2026 2/3 amount with respect to 4 Khata of land apertainig to Khata No.- 235( New), Khesra No.- 1542/1650 (New) and 1542/1651 (New) Mauza- Dhaphar, Circle-Basantpur, District- Supaul with respect to 4 Khata of land at the rate of commercial nature of land, as he has L.P.G. godown on the piece of land however he has been erroneously paid compensation of developing residential nature of the land.

B. To issue a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to pay compensation to petitioner of building/structure standing on Khata No.

235(New), Khesra No.- 1542/1650 and 1542/1651 Mauza-Dhaphar, Circle- Basantpur, DistrictSupaul, as the same has not been paid till date. C. Any other relief/s, which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances may also be granted."

3. After some argument, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it will suffice if his matter is taken up for consideration by respondent no. 8, the District Land Acquisition

4. Learned State counsel as also learned counsel representing the Union of India have no objection to it.

5. In that background, the writ petition stands disposed of allowing the petitioner to approach the respondent no. 8, the District Land Acquisition Officer, Supaul within a period of four weeks who shall be duty bound to look into the matter and pass an appropriate order, in accordance with law, preferably within a period of four months thereafter.
