The petitioner stands accused in a case arising from Gaya Kotwali P.S. Case No.513 of 2014 for the offence punishable under section 379 of the Indian Penal Code. The FIR charges the unknown accused of causing theft of a motorcycle of the informant.

Mr. Sahilesh Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has transpired during the course of investigation on the basis of confession of co-accused Sanjeet Kumar and that the motorcycle was recovered from the possession of Ravi Kumar. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the submissions so advanced let the petitioner, namely, Uday Kumar @ Tempu be released on bail on
