The petitioner, whose application for bail was earlier rejected by this Court, vide order dated 07.02.2014, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 53889 of 2013, has renewed his application for bail on the ground that till date, only one witness has been examined on behalf of the prosecution during trial.

Be that as it may, regard being had to the reasons assigned in the aforesaid order dated 07.02.2014; I am not inclined to take a different view in the matter. Accordingly, the application is rejected.

The Court below is directed to proceed with the trial

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.52689 of 2015 (2) dt.09-12-2015 2/2 expeditiously and conclude the same as early as possible, preferably within one year from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, failing which it would be open for the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail before the Court below itself.
