2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 247 of 2020, arising out of Bheldi P.S. Case No. 90 of 2020 dated 23.05.2020 lodged under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that bail petition of the petitioner has been earlier rejected vide order dated 20.07.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 19340 of 2022 with a direction to the trial Court to complete the trial within nine months. Counsel further submits that nine months has already been lapsed from the date of passing the order dated 20.07.2022.

4. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that this Court has pleased to call for the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39703 of 2023(3) dt.16-08-2023 2/2 status report and also submits that order may be passed as per the report received by the trial Court.

5. Upon perusal of the report, it transpires to this Court that trial Court has anticipated to conclude the trial within three months and out of six witnesses, evidence of five witnesses has already been taken place.

6. In this view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the bail petition of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
