The petitioner is in custody in connection with Complaint Case No.1659 C of 2002 for the offence under Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is that he has demanded dowry in the shape of a milking buffalo and cash of Rs.10,000/-.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and the petitioner is in custody since 11.03.2019. Learned counsel further submits that the complainant herself living separately from the petitioner for

Considering the aforesaid, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Let the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M.-Vth, Araria, in connection with Complaint Case No.1659 C of 2002.
