1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Sheikhpura Excise P.S. Case no. 190 of 2025 registered under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
3. As per the prosecution case, 1.5 litres of country liquor was recovered from the house of the petitioner and she was taken into custody.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no incriminating article has been recovered from her possession or from her house and she has been falsely implicated in the case because of her antecedents. She is in custody since 25.4.2025 and undertakes to cooperate in the case/trial.
5. The application for bail is opposed by learned
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34934 of 2025(2) dt.09-06-2025 2/2 A.P.P. for the State who submits that the petitioner is accused from before in as many as three cases under the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation against the petitioner and her being in custody since 25.4.2025, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Sheikhpura Excise P.S. Case no. 190 of 2025, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Special Excise Judge, Sheikhpura.
