2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Barahara P.S. Case No. 125 of 2023, registered for offence punishable under Sections 201, 304(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per allegation, the marriage of the daughter of the informant was solemnized with Baban Kumar, grandson of the petitioner. The accused persons used to torture the victim for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry of Rs.1,50,000/- and a motor cycle. On 01.03.2023, when the informant came to the house of her daughter, he came to know that her daughter was killed and her dead body was cremated by the accused persons.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He is grand-father of the husband of the deceased, having no concern with day-to-day affairs of the couple. He is a patient of Glaucoma. His vision is partially last. He has been made accused in this case merely because he is family member of the husband of the deceased.

5. On the other hand, the learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances as well as the clean antecedent, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender, within four weeks from today, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhojpur at Ara in connection with Barahara P.S. Case No. 125 of 2023, subject to condition as laid down under section 438(2) Cr. P.C.
