The grievance of the petitioner is that the police has made undue delay in completing the investigation of an offence punishable under Section 302 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code, for which F I R No. 111/2011 was lodged in Paliganj Police Station.

Learned Standing Counsel representing the State, states that investigation is complete and the report is likely to be submitted to the competent Court within one month from today.
