The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with K. Hat (Maranga) P.S. Case No. 416 of 2021 instituted for the offences punishable under Sections 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.

Taking into consideration, the petitioner is the owner of the vehicle from which 711 sealed plastic bags of Fertilizer has been recovered, which was meant for black-marketing and considering the provisions under the Essential Commodities Act, there are presumption relating to involvement of the owner of the truck is to the made, I am not inclined to grant
