IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT PATNA

Miscellaneous Jurisdiction Case No.401 of 2002 =========================================================== Surya Kumar Singh & Ors .... .... Petitioners

Versus

Rajmani Sinha & Ors .... .... Opposite Parties =========================================================== Appearance :

For the Petitioners : None For the Respondents : None =========================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 01-08-2017 This petition has been filed for correction of the spelling of the name of defendant-respondent to read as 'Surya Kumar Singh' in place of 'Suraj Kumar Singh' in the judgment dated 27.06.2001 passed in M.A. No. 351 of 1995.

2. The petitioner in person is not present today, nor was he present yesterday when the matter was called.

3. The petitioner in his petition has stated that the name of the defendant-respondent is correctly spelt as 'Surya Kumar Singh' in the main case, but owing to typographical mistake his name has incorrectly been spelt and typed in the judgment.

4. On perusal from the records of M.A. No. 351 of 1995 it appears that the name of defendant-respondent no. 2 has been spelt as 'Suraj Kumar Singh' and not 'Surya Kumar Singh' in the array of parties contrary to the claim of the petitioner. The name of defendant-respondent bears the same spelling in the judgment and as such there does not appear to be any typographical error as claimed by the petitioner.
