====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 30-08-2019 The said application has been filed seeking quashing of order dated 07.01.2017 passed by the Commandant Group Centre, C.R.P.F., Bhutapara, Samabalpur (Orisha), whereby the service of the petitioner has been terminated from the post of head constable (Min.).

It appears that the petitioner had filed appeal and revision petition. On perusal of the impugned order as well as the pleadings on record, in my opinion no cause of action can be said to have arisen within the territorial jurisdiction of this Court. Only on the ground that the petitioner is resident of a place which falls within the jurisdiction of this court, the petitioner cannot maintain this writ application before this court.

Patna High Court CWJC No.4545 of 2017(3) dt.30-08-2019 2/2 This writ application is, accordingly, dismissed as not maintainable for want of territorial jurisdiction. The petitioner shall be at liberty to question the legality of the impugned order before appropriate forum/authority in accordance with law including by way of filing appeal.
