The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 420, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 63, 65 of Copyright Act. As per F.I.R., police raided the shop namely Vijay Electrical and during search, fake electric wire of Havel India Ltd. was recovered from the shop of this petitioner. It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case at the instance of officers of the Havel Company. Petitioner is simply a shop-keeper and was not aware about the genuineness of the electric articles and as such, he cannot be held responsible for selling fake wires. Petitioner has got clean antecedent.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.37222 of 2022(2) dt.17-11-2022 2/2 Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, in the event of arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, let the above named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned J.M. 1st Class, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Sikta P.S.
