The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Gopalpur P. S. Case No. 151 of 2015 registered under Sections 363, 366A and 376 of the Indian Penal Code. Regard being had to the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 in which she has categorically stated that the petitioner not only abducted her but also committed rape upon her, I am not inclined to grant him bail. Accordingly, the application for bail is rejected.
