2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 323, 307, 354B, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per prosecution case, on the alleged date and time of occurrence, this petitioner assaulted on the head of informant by means of Khanti.

4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. As a matter of fact, petitioner and informant are Gotiyas and next door neighbours. Petitioner claims clean antecedents.

5. On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39690 of 2024(4) dt.23-09-2024 2/2 the petitioner and submitted that petitioner is named in the F.I.R. and there is specific accusation that he assaulted on head of informant. Doctor has found the injuries, sustained by the informant, to be grievous in nature.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, gravity of offence and nature of injuries sustained by the injured, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected.
