====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE BIRENDRA KUMAR ORAL ORDER 23-06-2021 Heard the parties in virtual Court proceeding. The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 366(A), 379, 34 of the I.P.C. Allegation against the petitioner is of kidnapping and commission of rape against a minor girl. The victim supported the aforesaid allegation in her statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C.

In the past, prayer for bail was refused on 04.03.2020 with direction to the trial Judge to expedite the trial. The report of the trial Judge reveals that charges were framed on 15.02.2020 and coercive steps has been taken for procuring the attendance of prosecution witnesses but no one has turned up. Let the Superintendent of Police, West Champaran at Bettiah ensure production of prosecution witness in connection

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33847 of 2020(5) dt.23-06-2021 2/2 with Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 351 of 2013 corresponding to Sessions Trial No. 740 of 2019 and ensure conclusion of the trial within six months.

With the aforesaid observation, prayer for bail is refused.
