Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Gopalganj P.S. Case No. 507 of 2020, registered under Sections 30(a) and 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

The accusation is of recovery of several bottles of Indian made foreign liquor in volume of 292 litres from the vehicle, which was being driven by the petitioner Naresh Pandit and Manoj Keshri as well as Dipak Paswan were also apprehended from the said vehicle.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Addl. Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Gopalganj in connection with Gopalganj P.S. Case No. 507 of 2020.
