The petitioner is aggrieved by payment of remuneration for the period petitioner has worked. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that taking work and denying salary would amount to begari, which is violation of Article 23 of the Constitution of India. Considering the fact that the petitioner has worked but denied salary, the writ application is disposed of with a direction

Patna High Court CWJC No.11238 of 2018(3) dt.18-07-2019 2/2 to the respondent District Programme Officer, Muzaffarpur to examine the record whether the petitioner has worked as Talimi Markaz Sawam Sevak and in case it is found that the petitioner has worked as Talimi Markaz Sawam Sevak for the period he is claiming salary, the petitioner should be paid salary. Necessary decision in this regard must be taken by the respondents within a maximum period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. With the aforesaid, the writ application stands disposed of.
