2. With the consent of both the parties, this writ application is being disposed of at the present stage itself.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that for seeking the reliefs as claimed for in the present writ application,

Patna High Court CWJC No.9634 of 2025(2) dt.25-06-2025 2/3 the petitioners have already filed a representation before the District Fishery Officer-cum-Chief Executive Officer, Banka (Respondent No. 5) which is at Annexure-6 and Annexure-6/1 to the writ application. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that they would be satisfied if an appropriate direction could be issued to Respondent No. 5 to dispose of the representation which was filed by the petitioners on merit after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners within a fixed time frame, by passing a reasoned and speaking order.

4. This prayer being made by the learned counsel for the petitioners is not opposed by the learned counsel for Respondent-State.

5. As prayed for by learned counsel for the petitioners, this writ application is disposed of directing the District Fishery Officer-cum-Chief Executive Officer, Banka (Respondent No.

5) to dispose of the representations which is at Annexure-6 and Annexure-6/1 to the writ application on merit after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners, by passing a reasoned and speaking order. The entire exercise must be completed within a period of three months from the date of production of a copy of this order by the petitioners.
