Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail vide order dated 18.06.2020, passed in Cr. Misc. No.84436 of 2019, but the petitioner could not surrender in the court below within four weeks from the date of receipt of this order. The petitioner fell ill and he was under treatment. On account of of closure of the court due to COVID-19 pandemic, the petitioner was prohibited from physically appearing in the court.
