2. The present application has been filed for quashing the order dated 02.09.2016 passed by the learned C.J.M., Buxar by which cognizance has been taken in Simari P.S. Case No. 129 of 2014 under Sections 341/323/504/506 of the Indian Penal Code and 3(i)(x)(xi) SC/ST (Prohibition of Atrocity) Act.

3. By way of supplementary affidavit, the petitioners

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18861 of 2017(3) dt.24-08-2023 2/2 have brought on record the photostat copy of the certified copy of the compromise petition.

4. In view of the settlement of the dispute between the parties, this application is allowed.

5. Accordingly, the order dated 02.09.2016 passed by the learned C.J.M., Buxar by which cognizance has been taken in Simari P.S. Case No. 129 of 2014 under Sections 341/323/504/506 of the Indian Penal Code and 3(i)(x)(xi) SC/ST (Prohibition of Atrocity) Act is hereby quashed against the petitioners only in the interest of justice.
