The present appeal has been preferred against the order dated 14.05.2018 in CWJC No. 15864 of 2015, passed by the learned Single Bench. Learned counsel for the appellant filed a petition claiming arrears and payment of pension in terms

Patna High Court L.P.A No.808 of 2018(10) dt.04-07-2022 2/2 of second revised pension pay order dated 13.08.2018, issued by the Senior Divisional Finance Manager of Railways. A counter was filed by the Bank. Bank had issued a letter dated 19.02.2015, wherein basic pension of appellant had been revised to Rs. 8,814/- with effect from 01.08.2009, and arrears for the period 01.01.2006 to 31.07.2009 had also been credited in the account of the appellant on 29.09.2008 and 18.09.2009. The appellant now claims benefits with effect from 01.08.2004 on the plea that he retired on 31.07.2004. He was however, unable to produce any such order from the Railways granting second revised pension with effect from 01.08.2004. The learned single Bench therefore felt that appellant's claim had been redressed under order dated 19.02.2015, which was brought on record by the Bank.

This Court finds no infirmity with the order and there is no merit in the appeal. Accordingly, the appeal stands dismissed.
