The petitioner seeks bail in Guthani P.S. Case No.173 of 2020, registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The police on secret inputs that two persons were carrying liquor in a Scorpio vehicle intercepted the vehicle but out of two persons, one person managed to flee away. The apprehended accused disclosed his name as Rohit Kumar, the petitioner and he also disclosed the name of his accomplice as Vishal Kumar. 226 litres of liquor was recovered from the Scorpio vehicle. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody for more than 4 months.

Considering the facts that the petitioner has already
