2. The present MJC-contempt petition is filed for noncompliance of the order dated 10.01.2022 passed in CWJC No. 10337 of 2020. The petitioner had certain grievance in respect

Patna High Court MJC No.1143 of 2022(4) dt.05-07-2023 2/3 of arrears of salary. In this regard, he had submitted representation and it was not considered and in the result CWJC No. 10337 of 2022 was filed. This Court has specifically directed the concerned authority to consider the grievance of the petitioner and pass order or in the alternative settle all monetary benefits within a period of four months from the date of receipt of this order whereas the order is complied on 19.06.2023. It is to be noted that there is no application from the concerned respondent seeking extension of time to comply the order before time is lapsed. On the other hand, concerned authority slept over the matter resulted in filing contempt petition. The present contempt petition is filed on 07.07.

2022 whereas compliance is after almost one year from the date of filing contempt petition. Taking note of these dates and events, the concerned respondent is hereby directed to pay cost of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand). Cost shall be remitted in the Patna High Court Legal Services Committee, and it is from the pocket of the District Magistrate, Madhubani and not from the State Government or office of the concerned department.
