2. The present application has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking extension of the time granted for surrender by way of modification of the order dated 08.07.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 20189 of 2020 by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court. By the said order, the petitioner was granted provisional bail with a direction to surrender before the learned court below within six weeks. However, owing to the nonfunctioning of the physical courts during the relevant period, the petitioner was unable to surrender within the stipulated time despite his bona fide intention to comply with the order.

3. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has no instructions in the matter and, therefore, seeks permission to withdraw the present application.

4. Permission, as prayed, is granted.

5. Accordingly, the present application is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh application, if the need arises.
