This is the third attempt of the petitioner to seek bail in connection with Ghorasahan P.S. Case No. 75 of 2020 registered for the offences under Sections 302, 201, 120B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail as the trial has progressed.

The learned counsel for the petitioner, at this stage, submits that altogether there are 20 prosecution witnesses out of which only four witnesses have been examined and the last witness was examined on 12.04.2022 and thereafter not a single

The learned Trial Court is directed to ensure that the trial progresses and is completed within a period of one year from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. In the event, if the trial is not concluded within the period aforesaid, the petitioner would be at liberty to file an application seeking regular bail before the learned Trial Court itself.
