Counsel for the petitioner is directed to remove the defect(s), as pointed out, by the office, within a period of four weeks.
The petitioner seeks bail in connection with S.T. No.301/2019 arising out of Khaira P.S. case No.116 of 2019 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 302 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of A.D.J. III, Jamui.
The earlier bail application of the petitioner was rejected vide Annexure 1 to the present application taking into account that petitioner is one of the assailants.
A report was called for from the trial court. It has been
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.37412 of 2022(3) dt.12-10-2022 2/2 reported that all the prosecution witnesses have already been examined and the trial is likely to be concluded within a period of four months.
Considering the nature of accusation and the stage of the case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The same is rejected.
The Trial Court is directed to take all necessary steps to conclude the trial at the earliest.
