2. The present application has been filed for setting aside the order dated 18.05.2017 in Complaint Case No. 131 (C)/2017 passed by learned J.M.-Ist Class, Patna, wherein cognizance has been taken under Sections 406 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 138 of N.I. Act against the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42303 of 2024(2) dt.08-08-2024 2/2 petitioners.

3. It has been jointly submitted by learned counsels for the parties i.e., petitioners and the opposite party no. 2 that the matter has been settled between the parties and they pray that the complaint case may be quashed.

4. In view of the above, no useful purpose will be served by keeping the complaint case pending.

5. Accordingly, this application is allowed and the order dated 18.05.2017 passed in Complaint Case No. 131(C)/2017 is hereby quashed.
