The instant application for anticipatory bail has been filed by the petitioner apprehending his arrest in connection with Andhrathari P.S. Case no. 114 of 2021 instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 365 and 366 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is a case of abduction and committing rape upon the victim who is daughter-in-law of the informant. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He has falsely been implicated in this case. He has got

Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer of bail and submitted that this fact is apparent from the statement of victim recorded under section 164 of Cr.PC. that the petitioner abducted the victim and committed rape with her. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration that there is direct allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and, as such, his application for bail is rejected.
