JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 14-09-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Prayer for bail of this petitioner was earlier rejected by this court vide order dated 21.02.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 41564 of 2021.

The trial court report reveals that charge has already been framed on 03.11.2021 and summons have been issued for appearance of prosecution witnesses.

Considering the nature of accusation, gravity of the offence and progress of the trial, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. However, since the petitioner is in custody since 12.03.2021, the trial court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably, within one year from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.
