Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered in connection with Bahadurpur P. S Case No. 45 of 2021 for the offences punishable under Section 326, 307, 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. According to the prosecution case, Marriage of informant's daughter Anupma Kumari was solemnized with son of petitioner no. 1 as per Hindu rites and rituals. Due to none fulfillment of demand of dowry of Rs. 5 lacs, Monu Kumar

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioners have clean antecedent and falsely implicated in the present case. Further submits that petitioner no. 1 is father-in -law and petitioner no. 2 is mother-in-law of the victim Anupma Kumari. Husband Monu Kumar is already in jail custody. The learned A.P.P vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. On the basis of C.D and statement of victim recorded under section 164 of the Cr.P.C in which the victim has categorically stated the involvement of the present petitioners.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail and accordingly, their prayer for bail in connection with Bahadurpur P.S.case No. 45 of 2021, pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Darbhanga stands rejected.
