This case was taken up at 10.30 A.M. when no one appeared. Once again at 12:00 P.M. on call, no one appeared on behalf of the petitioners.

The petitioners moved before this Court under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing of the FIR bearing Madhuban P.S. Case No. 232 of 2017.

As per the prosecution story, the informant, Md. Jamil Akhtar alleged that in collusion with the police officials posted at Madhuban police station, false case was lodged against him

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.8015 of 2018(3) dt.19-01-2023 2/2 and nine others just to harass him and others. Accordingly, the FIR was lodged.

From the perusal of the First Information Report, allegations have been made against the petitioners herein of assault and in that backdrop, there is nothing to interfere in the present case.
