1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this application is being filed for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents authorities to consider the case of petitioner for appointment on the part of "Vikas Mitra" on the compassionate ground."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the respondents has pointed out that the husband of the petitioner was appointed on contractual basis for 11 months, vide letter dated 05.04.2010 (Annexure-1 to the writ petition) and the fact is that no rules/regulations provide for grant of compassionate employment to the legal heirs of a deceased contractual

3. In view of the aforesaid, the learned counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the present writ petition.

4. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
