The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Manpur P.S. Case No. 191 of 2022 (G.R. No. 3471 of 2022) registered for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 353 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. As per the prosecution case, two groups were fighting and when the police reached there they also fought with the police.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the similarly situated co-accused Matlu Yadav and Guddu Yadav have been granted bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Hon'ble Court vide order dated 09.02.2023 and 25.05.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 57183 of 2022 and Cr. Misc. No. 17511 of 2023. The petitioner is in custody since 16.03.2023.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.38843 of 2023(2) dt.21-07-2023 2/2 Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the period of custody, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M-V, Nalanda at Biharsharif in connection with Manpur P.S.
