The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Section 307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code and under section 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

The petitioner is alleged to have given blows with knife on the neck of his wife.

The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 21.05.2015 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 51732 of 2014 with an observation that the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after six months. Six months has already elapsed and the petitioner has remained in jail for more than one and half year.

No.54311 of 2015 (2) dt.16-12-2015 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-IV, Nalanda at Biharsharif in S.T. No. 639/14 arising out of Rajgir P.S. Case No. 96 of 2014.
