The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Ram Krishna Nagar P.S. Case No. 142 of 2017, dated 25.05.2017, instituted for the offences under Sections 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

On 08.01.2021, this Court had called for a report from the Court below about the present stage of the case,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.30949 of 2020(3) dt.12-02-2021 2/2 which report has been received and kept at Flag-P. The report indicates that four prosecution witnesses have been examined and four are yet to be examined.

Considering the present stage of the trial, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The prayer for grant of bail of the petitioner is, accordingly, rejected.

However, the Trial Court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial positively within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
