2.The present petition has been preferred for the following relief/s:

(i) for issuance of an appropriate writ, rule or direction commanding the respondents to forgive the settlement amount for the Covid19 Lockdown period between 22.03.2020 to 31.05.2020 and accept the settlement amount for the rest period of three sairat settlement for Forbesganj Nagar Parishad in installment which has been settled in favour of this petitioner for the year 2020-2021 on

Patna High Court CWJC No.10337 of 2025(2) dt.03-07-2025 2/2 16.04.2020 for which the petitioner submitted repeated representation before them. And/or grant such other relief or reliefs as your Lordships may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice.

3. After some argument, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he shall be approaching the Executive Officer, Nagar Parishad, Forbesganj, (Araria) in next four weeks alongwith all the relevant documents for the redressal of his grievance.

4. The Nagar Parishad, Forbesganj unrepresented. However, learned State Counsel submits that if such petition is filed, it shall be taken to its logical conclusion.

5. In that background, the writ petition is disposed of allowing the petitioner to approach the respondent no.5, the Executive Officer, Nagar Parishad, Forbesganj, (Araria) in next four weeks alongwith all the relevant documents who shall after hearing the necessary parties shall take the matter to its logical conclusion in next four months.
