The petitioner is in custody in connection with Majhauliya P.S. Case No. 417 of 2015 for offence punishable under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.
The allegation against this petitioner is of removing kerosene oil from the oil tanker. It is stated that the petitioner is the Khalasi of the tanker and the driver had escaped. It is submitted that the petitioner has a clean antecedent.
Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the nature of allegation, let the petitioner Binod Kumar Singh be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah in connection with Majhauliya P.S. Case No. 417 of 2015.
