Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b)A/26 of the Arms Act.

A country made pistol and two cartridges were allegedly recovered from possession of the petitioner. Petitioner has got criminal antecedent including cases of theft and robbery. Petitioner is in custody since 30.06.2020.

Considering the nature of allegation and criminal antecedent of the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge him on bail in connection with Goraul P.S. Case No. 228 of 2020 pending in the Court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-I, Hajipur at Vaishali.

Hence, prayer of the petitioner for bail is refused.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.38271 of 2020(3 ) dt.23-03-2021 2/2 Learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial of the case.
