2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under section 498A of the IPC and sections 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. Petitioner denies the allegation levelled against him and submits that he never committed any torture or demanded any dowry. It is further submitted that the petitioner is already paying Rs.2000/- per month to opposite party no.2 in compliance order dated 24.11.2002, passed by the Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Balia in Divorce Case No. 681 of 2021.

4. Learned counsel for the State and opposite party no.2 point out that the petitioner is not paying the aforesaid

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39418 of 2024(6) dt.22-01-2025 2/2 amount regularly.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts of the case, prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. In the event of arrest/surrender within eight weeks from today, let the petitioner, mentioned above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Buxar in Complaint Case No. 890C/2022, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
