The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Laheriasarai P.S. Case No. 456 of 2019, dated 28.10.2019, instituted for the offences under Sections 307 and 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34497 of 2020(2) dt.21-12-2020 2/3 It has been alleged in the First Information Report that the brother of the informant was killed at the hands of the accused persons including the petitioner. However, it has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that one Raunak Singh is said to be the author of the main injury and taking this into account, some of the other named accused persons of this case have been granted bail by different Benches of this Court. The aforesaid fact has been stated in paragraph 11 of the bail petition.
It has further been submitted that the petitioner is stated to be the same person who has been named as the accused person at serial No. 9 in the array of parties in the F.I.R., but that statement is not correct. Be that as it may, regard being had to the fact that other similarly situated accused persons of this case have been granted bail and that the petitioner is in custody since 18.05.2020, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the
