The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Tikapatti P.S. Case No. 111 of 2015 registered under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and 47(a) of the Excise Act. It is contended that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and the recovery of the country made liquor is from a house, which is jointly occupied by three brothers. It has further been contended that the petitioner has got roots in the society and is not likely to abscond or tamper with the evidence. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.56073 of 2015 (2) dt.15-12-2015 2 / 2 application for bail of the petitioner.
Regard being had to the nature of offence and the period undergone in custody, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the S.J.V.-cum- A.C.J.M., Purnea in connection with Tikapatti P.S. Case No.111 of 2015.
