The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Mithanpura P.S. Case No. 215 of 2015 registered under Section 354B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8/12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.

Regard being had to the gravity of the offence and the role attributed against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant him bail at this stage. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected. However, in case the trial is not concluded within nine months from the date of framing of charge, the petitioner would be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.
