The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Harnaut P.S. Case No. 318 of 2015 registered under Sections 461 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.
It is contended that the petitioner is neither named in the FIR nor any incriminating article has been recovered from his possession. It is also contended that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and having roots in the society, he is not likely to abscond or tamper with the evidence.
Learned counsel for the State has opposed the application for grant of bail to the petitioner.
