The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Saraiya P. S. Case No. 261 of 2020 dated 27.04.2020, instituted for offences under Sections 25 (1-B)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act, 1959.
One country-made pistol and a live cartridge has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.
He is in custody since 28.04.2020.
The learned counsel for the petitioner has
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35891 of 2020(2) dt.22-01-2021 2/2 submitted that the petitioner has clean antecedents and the recovery has wrongly been shown in the F.I.R. Considering the period of custody of the petitioner and the nature of accusation, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M. 1st (W), Muzaffarpur, in connection with Saraiya P. S. Case No. 261 of 2020.
The petition stands allowed.
