Considering that this revision application is of the year 2017 and it relates to maintenance of neglected woman and children, this Court has considered it on its own merit on the basis of the materials available on the record. By the impugned order, the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Banka has been pleased to allow a sum of Rs. 1,500/- to the applicant-wife and Rs. 1,000/- to each of the two minor children of the petitioner. A perusal of the impugned order shows that the marriage between the parties is admitted. The applicant-wife has no independent source of income whereas the husband-opposite party has got sufficient income to

Considering that the amount awarded to the wife and the minor children are meager amount and in the present days' price index of the country, the amount cannot be interfered with, this Court dismisses the revision application.
