JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 12-01-2021 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State. This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Chanpatiya (Sirisiya O.P.) P.S. Case No. 117 of 2020 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a)/30(b) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

According to the case of the prosecution, as disclosed in the First Information Report, a police team had conducted raids leading to recovery of illicit liquor from possession of so many persons including this petitioner. From the petitioner's possession, ten liters of country made liquor was recovered, as alleged in the First Information Report. The petitioner is in custody since 20.03.2020 Considering the above, this application is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail
