Petitioner is in jail custody since 21.9.2015 on the accusation that he demanded extortion money from the informant but submission on behalf of the petitioner is that there were several litigations between the parties much prior to institution of the present case and, therefore, in the aforesaid background allegation of demand of extortion appears to be doubtful.

No doubt, petitioner carries criminal antecedent of some cases but taking note of the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran in Bettiah Town P.S.
